Cessation of publication

 

The HAT has been in negotiation to pass on the magazine to a third party for 3 months now.

It is now apparent that this wish is not attainable to the pleasure of both sides and it is with regret that The HAT will now cease publication.

It was decided to move the HAT onto new ownership a while ago and whilst all parties had the best intentions it has proved to be a step too far. This is a sadness to all parties but time stands still for nobody.

 

It is the belief that the magazine has improved the knowledge and lifestyle of the Languedoc and with other like minded publications given much more to the region.

 

Thanks where due to all writers, contributors readers and advertisers for your support.

All relevant parties will be contacted in the coming fortnight but it is right that we stop the speculation.

Any rumours are just that and we wish those individuals the best. We reserve the right of silence as in the words of Oscar Wilde "Theonly thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about".
